Santharajupalli Umapathi is a Computer Science and Engineering graduate with a strong academic and technical background in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Python Development. His expertise spans Python, SQL, automation scripting, machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and Generative AI technologies such as LangChain, Hugging Face, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). He has hands-on experience in developing intelligent data-driven solutions, building automation systems, and designing AI-powered applications that improve efficiency and support data-driven decision-making across various technical environments.

He has worked across domains involving IT automation, data science, and AI-based application development, where he focused on building scalable automation workflows and machine learning solutions. His work includes developing intelligent systems such as AI-powered document retrieval and question-answering platforms using vector databases and large language models, as well as computer vision applications like automated face recognition attendance systems. His technical capabilities extend across the full data science lifecycle, including data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, model development, and deployment, utilizing tools and frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Flask, Streamlit, and modern visualization platforms for analytics and reporting.

Currently, Umapathi contributes as Program Support for the MS Data Science program, assisting learners in understanding core data science concepts and guiding them through real-world projects.
